BudgetBloom LLC ("We") is the official entity that owns and operates the personal finance and budgeting application, BudgetBloom ("application"), as well as the public marketing website ("marketing site") associated with the BudgetBloom App. We respect your right to privacy and make every effort possible to safeguard and protect your personal and private data. What types of data do we collect, and how do we use it?

We only collect the private data of a user that is required for the BudgetBloom application to operate and function or is directly related to or associated with personal finance and budgeting.

Information you provide us.
  • Personally identifiable information in the form of your first and last name is collected to provide users with personalized communications and customer support.
  • Contact details, including your telephone number and email address, are used for securely accessing BudgetBloom and any communications, such as marketing emails directly related to the features and functionality offered by BudgetBloom. Customer support functions may also use contact information to provide customer support.
  • Financial information such as your financial institutions, account balances, and transactions are transmitted and stored securely and used to provide the basic functionality required by BudgetBloom.
  • Payment details, including credit cards and associated data, are collected if subscribing to a paid subscription. We do not process or store billing and payment details, such as credit card numbers, in any way, but rather, we send this information directly and securely to the payment processing service Stripe.
Information collected via technology:
  • Analytics data is collected and stored to analyze how BudgetBloom is utilized, such as the usage of a particular feature or functionality, how often users access the application, or when a user upgrades to a paid plan.
  • Financial information such as your financial institutions, accounts, account balances, and transactions associated with these accounts is collected if you have connected your financial institution with BudgetBloom. Financial data is collected via third-party service Stripe periodically and stored securely by BudgetBloom.

Third parties who process your data

Third-party services required for the operation of BudgetBloom may use data collected from users. This Privacy Policy does not cover how third-party services manage data. We do not sell your data to third parties of any kind.

Analytics
  • We use Mixpanel (Privacy Policy) to process payments and manage user subscriptions.
Financial
  • We use Plaid (Privacy Policy) to connect to and sync account balances and transactions associated with those accounts.
Billing and Payments
  • We use Stripe (Privacy Policy) to process payments and manage user subscriptions.
Communications
  • We use Intercom (Privacy Policy) to provide customer support for users of BudgetBloom.
  • We use MailChimp (Privacy Policy) to store the email addresses of subscribers to our newsletters and send marketing emails directly related to personal finance, budgeting, and the BudgetBloom application.
Infrastructure
  • We use Amazon Web Services (Privacy Policy) to store and serve the BudgetBloom application and the BudgetBloom marketing site. We securely store encrypted user data on AWS database solutions.
  • We use Segment (Privacy Policy) as a single source to send data to the other third-party services noted in this Privacy Policy.
  • Sentry (Privacy Policy) is used to collect data related to errors that occur in the application.

We use cookies. Why?

BudgetBloom uses cookies to store user authentication data to maintain a user's logged-in status for a short period. Third-party services used by BudgetBloom to function, and which are not covered by this Privacy Policy, may use cookies, however.
